چکیده

The aim of this paper is to propose a terminology of nested simulation models. The terminology is based on our recently recommended classification of nested simulation, i.e. of simulation of systems containing simulating elements, with respect to three basic criteria (reflectivity, size and depth of nesting). The criteria are explained and supported by giving references to existing implementations of simulation models. The criteria can be combined and confused and, therefore, the real terminology must be limited to the cases that seem to be realistic in the near future.

Development of PSPO Simulation Optimization Algorithm

In this article a new algorithm is developed for optimizing computationally expensive simulation models. The optimization algorithm is developed for continues unconstrained single output simulation models. The algorithm is developed using two simulation optimization routines. We employed the nested partitioning (NP) routine for concentrating the search efforts in the regions which are most like...

Mirror Neurons and (Inter)subjectivity: Typological Evidence from East Asian Languages

Language is primarily constituted by action and interaction based on sensorimotor information. This paper demonstrates the nature of subjectivity and intersubjectivity through the neural mechanism and typological evidence of sentence-final particles from East Asian languages and extends to the discussion of the relationship between them. I propose that intersubjecivity is a kind of embedded or ...

Probit and nested logit models based on fuzzy measure

Inspired by the interactive discrete choice logit models [Aggarwal, 2019], this paper presents the advanced families of discrete choice models, such as nested logit, mixed logit, and probit models to consider the interaction among the attributes. Besides the DM's attitudinal character is also taken into consideration in the computation of choice probabilities. The proposed choice models make us...

Super-Object-Oriented Programming and Simulation

The progress in computer simulation tends to simulate complex systems governed by “internal models”, i.e. sophisticated activities of computing technique in real time flow. Independently of that, computer simulation needs the object-oriented programming and the agent-based paradigm for constructing “external models” of complex systems that are being designed. Thus the progress tends to use mode...

A new method for fuzzification of nested dummy variables by fuzzy clustering membership functions and its application in financial economy

In this study, the aim is to propose a new method for fuzzification of nested dummy variables. The fuzzification idea of dummy variables has been acquired from non-linear part of regime switching models in econometrics. In these models, the concept of transfer functions is like the notion of fuzzy membership functions, but no principle or linguistic sentence have been used for inputs. Consequen...
